About the Artist

Nancy Byers

When I moved into my house, my sidelight was just clear glass and I envisioned tall aspens rising up in all their fall glory.

One day, when walking in Durango, I walked by a fused glass studio and stopped in. They taught & me how to make the beautiful sidelight I envisioned.

During that process, I was captivated to make more pieces, and a few years later ran out of windows, shelves, and yard space so I decided to create an art business.

The camaraderie in art events, exhibits, and art gallery invitations is a gift that added to my love of this art form. Life takes many twists and turns that lead to something exciting.
